Founded in 1998, Actance is a law firm specialising in employment law. With over 70 lawyers, the firm is known for its in-depth expertise and commitment to its clients. The firm offers a full range of employment law services, including advice and litigation.
Actance is structured into several teams, each led by a partner. While collaboration is optimal within the firm, the dynamic is more perceptible within each team than in the cross-functional relationships between teams. The challenge was to unite the firm’s various divisions and create synergy between these different units, through a clear expression of Actance corporate culture.
To make the firm’s culture tangible, we designed and created the Actance Culture Book. The document is a guide to understanding the values, ambitions and experience of the firm. The result was a collective effort, enhanced by testimonials from the firm’s professionals and clients. The culture book highlights the prominent features of the Actance way of life, such as the spirit of success, the will to act and hyper-commitment.
Emphasising the importance of teamwork, this document is a point of reference for existing and future employees, enabling them to understand what unites them. It is also a differentiating asset for clients and prospective clients, who discover another facet of the firm and become immersed in its culture.
