As well as being a group of chartered accountants, Audecia is above all a group of responsive professionals who are keen to provide their clients with the best possible support in meeting the various challenges that entrepreneurs face on a day-to-day basis. And speaking of challenges, 2023 has set the pace! The reform of electronic invoicing, which will come into effect in 2024, is the subject of much debate and is a source of concern for entrepreneurs, who are sometimes at a loss as to how to deal with this new transition.
Challenge
It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and that’s exactly what Audecia has asked us to achieve: to explain all the complexities of the reform in a simple and entertaining way in a video. Explain through images, yes! Producing a 6.40 minute informative video, no! With this in mind, we decided not to limit ourselves to a single video, but to create an entire web series. In order to get our message across effectively and reach the widest possible audience, we had to come up with a strong concept that would speak to everyone. What is it that brings all professions together and resonates with all generations? The answer is a game!
Solution
Our entire web series has been designed along the lines of 1990s retro-gaming: the use of pixels, the use of bright, bold colours and the development of a strong, recognisable sound identity. Each episode has been designed around the level model, in which the main character has to complete several challenges in order to unlock the next level. The orchestrated challenge is, in fact, a task that prepares him to welcome the new reform with composure. In this way, under the cover of a playful medium, with an angle that conveys a touch of nostalgia but above all is specific to a familiar environment, the user gradually consolidates his or her knowledge. The theme selected for the episodes is gradual in terms of technicality and difficulty, in the logic of a video game. The more advanced the user, the more specific the concepts covered. The first videos, on the other hand, are general in nature and concentrate on the essentials to keep in mind. As for the title of our web series, there was one name that made perfect sense and that everyone agreed on: Level-up!
